Amblyscirtes reversa Jones, 1926 - ? - Amblyscirtes hegon
Boyce, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, USA
February 28, 2017
Species determined by Ray Simpson (New Haven, CT) on March 2nd, 2017, based on "light spots on peppered HW, the relatively long antenna and the white eye rings, and the gestalt body shape." I understand this image does not meet the quality for BugGuide, but as the page does not have any record of this species from Louisiana, I'm posting this image as a temporary, until better images is submitted. It can be moved to Frass, if not needed. The image was actually not photographed for ID, so the angle is bad.
