Very interesting Genus. This is one you should collect. Not many have been submitted to BOLD. I have had one species, not this one. You also need to photograph the ventral side. Catch in a glass jar and photograph from the outside. Then let me know and I will send glasseine envelopes and instructions. GREAT find!

Chuck has corrected me on iNa
Chuck has corrected me on iNaturalist and I 100% agree. He believes it is Taeniogramma tenebrosata. Which might be a first state record, ironically enough we have had up to (3) three here at the Judge Roy Bean Visitor Center. I will try to collect one. What do you think?

Well, that is the one I have collected quite a few times and has been identified for me by Ed Knudson. Mine are posted on BG, so yours would not be a state record, but might be a county record. Mine did not look at all like yours, no horizontal lines. Mine had a very yellow cast to the ventral side of both wings. The posts on MPG imply that T. tenebrosata is a very plain species, so I do not know where Chuck got that ID. Since there are not many photographs to go by, DNA would be beneficial.
Let me know when you collect another one.
