Black/orange beetle - Plagiodera arizonae
Tucson / Mount Lemmon, Arizona, USA

Size: between 1/4" & 1/2"
This was taken about 1/3 of the way up Mount Lemmon in Tucson. The image shows it is eating from the leaf. It was iridescent in the light.
