I believe this is Poecilanthrax tegminipennis. But I have been wrong before!

P. tegminipennis is correct.

Poecilanthrax tegminipennis looks right, but I'm no expert
Do the wing veins match? (I'm having some trouble making yours out.)

Looking at the originals, the wings do appear to match, including 2 (or perhaps 3) "dimples". I see what you mean: in neither shot are the wings lined up so that you can be certain that they do match.

Hopefully, you'll get an expert comment.
If not soon, your post will likely be moved to Bee Flies and then, later, IDed to genus. At least that's how it's typically worked in the past. I've a hunch some local knowledge is needed on this one and that it will be forthcoming.
