Comments

Hogna 'incognita'
Check out Hogna antelucana/baltimoriana-like node at BugGuide. This undescribed species is frequently observed in parts of Texas and Oklahoma. The carapace medial pale band which is restricted to a thin stripe in the head region on younger spiders often becomes indistinct on older adults, especially males. Late juveniles/early adults are much easier to identify. Bodies are usually entirely black underneath from an early stage in their development.
