Polistes sp. Another foundress - Polistes comanchus - female

Polistes sp. Another foundress - Polistes comanchus - Female
Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA
March 11, 2017
Another Polistes species rescued from my garage. Altitude is about 5300 feet above sea level.

It should be noted that this individual possess a rather potent sting for a Polistes wasp with a sharp pain lasting for 10 minutes and a dull pain that has persisted for several hours.

Despite her defensive behavior, she remained fixated on drinking the water droplets in the cup before casually leaving.
