Bug on Goldenrod - Sinea diadema

Bug on Goldenrod - Sinea diadema
Calgary, Southern Alberta, Alberta, Canada
August 4, 2007
Size: approx. 3/4"
Is this a Wheel Bug? If so, is it north of its usual range?

Moved
Moved from Sinea.

Sinea sp.
This is an assassin bug, just not a wheel bug. Wheel bugs are huge compared to Sinea.
