Size Measurements: We cannot judge the size of your bugs from an image, most of the time. Therefore, you must tell us or we will never know. (guessing or trying to remember, is not recommended)
Here is a tip:
If you have an old plastic ruler or a measuring tape, cut off a credit-card sized piece from the end of it and then slip that into your camera bag. You shouldn't need much more than about 4 or 5 cm for most bugs. (pocket-sized)(key-chain)
That way, you can measure every bug that you film and be able to keep the ruler with the camera, so you don't have to remember it.
If the bug flies away, you can place the ruler wherever it was and then take an extra shot for comparison. When you compare the images, you should be able to determine the exact body size, wing length or wing-span.
This will help you very much, when comparing the size of your bugs. FYI - I carry a 16mm wide thumbnail around, every where I go.
