Spider playing dead - Eriophora

Spider playing dead - Eriophora
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
March 25, 2017
Only noticed it when it rappelled down off a fence, saw it playing dead on the ground. Continued to play dead when I picked the blade of grass to get a better look.

Looks to be
male Orb Weaver. Not sure which. Maybe Eustala?

could it be
Neoscona? Photos I am finding of the males have a similar body shape and they hold a similar position.
