Poison Hemlock Moth - Agonopterix alstroemeriana

Poison Hemlock Moth - Agonopterix alstroemeriana
Brighton, Monroe County, New York, USA
March 26, 2017
It was found inside the house and probably flew in when the front door was open. Perhaps not surprisingly for a moth that overwinters as an adult, it seemed impervious to cold and flew away when I put it on an ice-filled dish for photography.
