Carabus sp?? - Carabus serratus

Carabus sp?? - Carabus serratus

I'm not 100% sure which species this one is? Is it Carabus sylvosus or Carabus nemoralis. I'm leaning more towards Carabus sylvosus. I accidentally dug this little fellow up while planting conifer seedlings in an open area on our property. I've never seen a ground beetle like this one. It was absolutely beautiful. The blue edges seemed to glow almost. The body was blackish.

Carabus serratus
C. nemoralis and C. sylvosus both have much smoother elytra.

Moved from ID Request.

Thank You!
Thanks for pointing out the difference in the elytra between the species. I've been trying to keep a record of the species I find on the property, so I appreciate your help with the identification.
