Hi Bryan
It looks like there is no more A. pima, but it is a synonym of A. illaudatus.

Araneus pima
I am a complete beginner. I just identified 2 large specimens as A. pima and I am in the geographic area of several of Bryan's photos on the web. Are you saying there has been a name change or some kind of re-classification? Thanks.

Yes,
I'm saying the correct name for A. pima is now Araneus illaudatus.
