Coronis or "Crown" Fritillary, Virginia Lakes, Ca. - Speyeria coronis

I'm pretty sure this is a speyeria coronis, which my book calls a "Crown Fritillary". This picture was taken on the main trail through the Virginia Lakes, where last summer there were hundreds of these fritillaries on the rocky slopes where the sage was in bloom.
