"Yes, This is Coccophagus, and it is part of a species group that includes C. mexicanus, C. albicoxa, and C. funiculatus. I'm not sure if that species group has been named. The group is characterized by a white or very pale hind coxa and a densely setose mesoscutellum. Based on Myartseva et al. (2016), I'd say the critter on Bugguide is an undescribed member of the group, but more careful comparisons would need to be made to be certain".

Will ask Dr. Heraty to comment on a further placement. If you are aware of any associations with this capture (e.g. found near scales), pls mention these as well.

I also emailed Dr. Polaszek the link to this wasp and the possible Encarsia that I posted last night, just FYI.

No associations that I'm aware of with this capture. The wasp just showed up at my porchlight.
