Sawfly on Amelanchier

Sawfly on Amelanchier
Lena Park, Starke County, Indiana, USA
April 12, 2017
Photographed on Amelanchier blossoms in a black sand oak woodland. To me, it looks a lot like Hoplocampa halcyon, for which there is only a single BG entry. The association with Amelanchier seems significant because at the site there are many (native) Amelanchier trees, including old ones. I saw several of these at the site, and have other photographs but they don't necessarily show it any better. My guess on size is 4 - 6 mm.
