Royal Crown-of-Thorns Leafhopper - Ormenaria rufifascia

This leafhopper fell victim to a fungus. I found it lifeless stuck to a saw palmetto.

Is that fungus Cordyceps by any chance? Any mycologists here?

Fungus ID
The fungus is something in the genus Hirsutella. Probably Hirsutella citriformis, but if I’m not mistaken the genus is understudied and is likely harboring cryptic diversity.
