Black bee with possible mites - Osmia

Black bee with possible mites - Osmia
Skykomish, Washington, USA
April 16, 2017
Not sure what type of bee. Mostly black with a smooth fly-like abdomen. Seems to be covered in mites. These bees have been dropping out of my porch ceiling and unable to fly, seem lathargic, and do not have normal behaviors. I caught this specific one crawling in the grass, unable to fly. There are a lot of these. Really very worried...

Male
This might be a male Mason Bee, possibly something close to the Hornfaced Bee, Osmia cornifrons, but it is hard to see him under all of those mites, wow! Hold on for an expert.

Mason Bee
I think it IS a Mason Bee! And looking it up. They have pollen mites! Thank you!
