Agromyzidae
I believe this is Calycomyza humeralis. Is the black object a fly puparium or the eulophid pupa?

the latter
since there was no other object in the vial other than this leaf and the parasitoid. Also, in looking at the image it seems to have the very subtly different shape of the eulophid (though I failed to recognize that after initial collection).

I was leaning that way too.
The fly larva must have been consumed before it got a chance to pupariate. A puparium in the mine would have been further support for this being C. humeralis, but I still feel good about that ID--it looks just like some of the mines on Erigeron/Conyza from which you and Tracy have reared that species.
