Found several of these yellow fruit flies flitting about tops of herbaceous vegetation within wet-mesic forest in Spoon River Bottomlands.

She is very dark, with dark feet. I think that this might be a female Strauzia intermedia. (north-eastern) A first for your state, congrats!
