Some kind of wood satyr - Megisto cymela

Some kind of wood satyr - Megisto cymela
Sequoyah State Park, Cherokee County, Oklahoma, USA
April 23, 2017
Size: approx 1" x 2"
This wood satyr looks more like "Viola's" than "little", but they're not supposed to be in Oklahoma. Does anyone if they've migrated west or if the lines between the two are too blurry to identify each now? I looked at my old pictures of little wood satyrs and this one definitely has bigger eyes, more markings between the eyes, and a more distinct outline around the eye sections.

Moved from ID Request.

Looks like "viola" form
It is listed as a subspecies in BugGuide and is limited to the southeast and mainly Florida. The distinction between species and subspecies is still being evaluated by the lep community. However I feel that several of the specimens ID in bugGuide as subspecies cymela from OK, AR, as well as some northern states are actually viola. It appears to me that the "viola" form is an OK resident
Regardless this is a BugGuide first for April in OK.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. Everything has been early here this year.
