Nemotelus - Nemotelus albirostris - female

Nemotelus - Nemotelus albirostris - Female
High Island, Chambers County, Texas, USA
April 23, 2017
No Nemotelus in the guide has this abdominal pattern. Both this female and a nearby male were collected. Here's the male:

Nemotelus albirostris Macquart, female
Moved from Nemotelus. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks John.

While N. bellulus does have a similar pattern, it has a much shorter rostellum ("snout").

deposited in CSCA

males and females are dimorphic in coloration

Pattern looks like N. Bellulus

That sp. is apparently known from texas, but new for Bugguide.
