Eastern United States(1) and Canada from Quebec and New York(2) south to Georgia(3) and Florida(4), west to Arkansas(5), Kansas(6) and Texas(7), north to Minnesota(8) and Maine.
Habitat
Typically found near water, especially swamps and marshes.
