Wondered if this might be Acronicta lanceolaria
Owlets page 297. Not many images available online and those don't have the dark spines yours has. Other parts of the description fit quite well. Maybe someone who knows more about them will comment. It could be that yours is just an earlier instar. Wagner does say that it is found in bogs!
