grasshopper - Trimerotropis pallidipennis - Male
Anza Borrego Desert State Park, San Diego County, California, USA
April 12, 2017
I am seeking any assistance with the identification of this desert grasshopper. Unfortunately I was not able to catch whether or not it had any patterning on its hind wings. I initially thought Pallid-winged Grasshopper, but it seems too contastingly patterned. Any assistance or ideas regarding its ID would be greatly appreciated!

Moved from Trimerotropini.

Likely is T. pallidipennis, as that species is very common and widespread. But I'm not familiar enough with western trimerotropini to tell you for sure

Moved from Grasshoppers, Crickets, Katydids.
