Cryptophagidae - Cryptophagus

Cryptophagidae - Cryptophagus
Bell County, Texas, USA
Size: scale bar is 1 mm
Corrected now - I had it in the wrong family

Moved
Moved from False Skin Beetles.

Not Biphyllidae
but Cryptophagidae: Cryptophagus (note prominent anteroiur corners of pronotum).

your ID
Thanks so much for the correction!

Poss. Byphyllid
If it is Byphyllid, doesn't appear to be Diplocoelus. Where is it from? I'll post image of the characteristic 1st sternite.

I was just wishing for another to show up,
but is from Indonesia, Borneo, or US/Canada?

location
Sorry. Central Texas - deep in leaf litter in a shaded, narrow, small canyon.
