Organizing photo submissions

I've noticed that some contributors have the photos on their personal page organized by family. How do I go about doing this? Thanks.

...clicking on "Your Account" in the upper right part of the screen. Beneath "User Account" you will see an "edit user information" link. Click it and scroll down to the "Biography" field. Under that is a link to "BBCode." Add code (either BBCode or HTML to the Biography field and that will show up on your account page.

Thanks, Ron!

Identifier field
When I upload images, I put jbsch (an identifier that I figure no one else is likely to use) and the order name in the identifier field of the first image of each specimen. Now, I can search for jbsch and an order name, and it returns those thumbnails. I like this method because, unlike the advanced-search method, it returns only one thumbnail per specimen and returns rows of them rather than one long column.

I might try that with future uploads. Good idea.

You can see your own images by using advanced search
Click on Search without putting anything in the search box. Then click on Advanced search. Put in your User ID#:72388. Then put in whatever taxa you are interested in, for example, Coleoptera has a Taxon ID# of 60. Press Go and you will see all 44 of your Coleptera images. Or put in 171 and you will see your 6 Cerambycids. This doesn't get them on your personal page, but does let you see all your images in any taxa category very quickly.

Another question
Where can I find the list of numerical codes for the taxa?

Start typing the taxon name... the "Taxon ID#" field of the Advanced Search form. The taxa, and their associated codes, will appear as you type.

Thanks again, Ken.

Thanks...that's a huge help.

Unless the site has functionality of which I'm unaware...
...that would have to be done manually using thumbnails.

Thanks, Ken.
