** When I search BugGuide for "Io Moth" I get no results -- I found the BG Io Moth entry via a Google search.

cdozo, Unfortunately I have had the same problem and asked for help. If you know the Genus or Species name or the Hodges number you can try all of them. Actually, I have found the Genus name to be quite reliable, then I to the Taxonomy tap and click to get the species.

I haven't found this to always be a problem, but my suggestions are a "work around".

They have been unusually prolific this spring as far as I can tell. GORGEOUS moths and always a pleasure to see.
