Identification
An orange-brown ant mimic. Characters (1) (2):
long, narrow carapace
cephalothorax deeply indented, giving the impression of a separate head and thorax
abdomen with prominent dorsal sclerite
cephalothorax and abdomen sometimes marked with white bands
front legs held up, mimicking antennae
female with front tarsus and tibia swollen, resembling those of a male to some extent
