Idaea micropterata ? - Idaea micropterata
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
May 7, 2017
Size: About 15 mm WS
Attracted to UV light. I thought this was an Idaea when I saw it, and one that I had not seen before. Hope I am correct in this ID. Without Peter Homann's BG photo, I never would have found it! I wish the photo were better, but it did not cooperate for long.

Thanks Bob. I am very excited about this one!

Yes, nice catch!
I like the way that the PM line curves very far forward, into or close to the AM line, near the inner margin.

Idaea micropterata
Yes. It creates an interesting pattern - closing the cell between Am and PM lines.
