Eristalis dimidiata .....male
Cell before humeral cross-vein dark brown-black:
No bluish reflections, lack of dark wing spot or any infuscation and just about able to see black pterostigma rules out E.saxorum, which is very rare and is the only other species with cell before humeral cross-vein dark brown-black.
