I found this little mantidfly? in my backyard, under the light by the pond. Thank you so much for the ID.

Definitely agree with ID here
The only other candidate is the yellowish form of Dicromantispa sayi.

But the strong "chocolate & banana" coloring here; relative smoothness of the dorsum of the "neck"; relatively small number of wing-cells (compared to the generally larger D. sayi); and uniformly dark antenna...all consistently point to Leptomantispa pulchella.

(Texas is in the southerly portion of the US range of Dicromantispa sayi...where its light-colored form displays "tricolored" antennae.)
