Little Guy with Horns - Onthophagus orpheus - male

Little Guy with Horns - Onthophagus orpheus - Male
Desoto, Dallas County, Texas, USA
May 17, 2017
Size: 8mm
Something I never thought I would ever say (and will never say anywhere but here on BG): "I gave a Dung Beetle a sponge bath with a cotton swab to make him more presentable." Of course, he then picked up lint from the fabric I use to absorb condensation when I move from indoors to outdoors in our N.Texas heat and humidity!
