Wow, completely fascinating!
I hope someone explains what's going on here. Do pseudoscorpions eat mites? Are they doing the longhorn a favor? Or are they abusing him as well?

 
It is neat, agreed.
Don't know much about mites, but we do have several posts with pseudoscorpions hitchhiking on beetles, which don't seem to mind.

 
I just saw that -
and one of them mentioned that they do eat mites, so perhaps there's a nice symbiosis going on between beetle and pseudoscorpion?
