Unidentified Cicindela - Cicindela sexguttata

Unidentified Cicindela - Cicindela sexguttata
Lime Creek Conservation Area, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, USA

I suspect this is either a Six-spotted Tiger Beetle (Cicindela sexguttata) without the spots on the elytra or a Laurentian Tiger Beetle (Cicindela denikei). Six-spotted Tiger Beetle seems more likely though given how common it is.

Definitely sexguttata,
C. denikei would be very far out of range there (in the US it is only found in northern Minnesota). C. sexguttata generally become less spotted as one goes west, so many individuals in Iowa are likely spotless.

Thanks!
