Size: ~2.8mm
need some help with this one - not sure what family to look at. (had trouble getting decent images also)

Mycetophagidae - Hairy Fungus Beetles?

Yes, Mycetophagidae.
At first glance it looked like Lita*rgus tetra*spilotus, then I noticed the spots went beyond tetra :-) It is the shape and the neat rows of setae that say Mycetophagidae to me.
