Here the female has moved a bit down the stem to continue feeding, while the male has taken over where she left off above. In the full-size photo one can clearly see the black-tipped teeth of both of the male's mandibles clasping/scraping both sides of the tip of the foliage...and his labrum is cupped above that "foliage scale/twig"-tip.
