Juvenile Blue Dasher? - Brachymesia furcata

Juvenile Blue Dasher? - Brachymesia furcata
maricopa County, Arizona, USA
August 7, 2007
Found at Rio Salado, Phoenix, near a pond. I dont know about juveniles at all yet. The clues I see are the black stigma and the slight brown wing tinge near the body. I do not recognise the brown nose and plain brown body.

This looks like a young male Red-tailed Pennant. Note the ski-jump-shaped cerci.

Thank you.
Thank you so much. It is exciting to get help identifying insects! Now I have something to help expand my knowledge.
