host plant species?
There are two very similar species of Gargaphia that look like your specimen, unfortunately, to distinguish them I need to see a lateral view of the insect, but the host plant can help. The plant in your image looks like Amorpha fructicosa (False Indigo), is that correct? If so, chances are that you have Gargaphia amorphae.
