Chrysomelidae? - Platydema ellipticum

Chrysomelidae? - Platydema ellipticum
Auburn, Lee County, Alabama, USA
August 18, 2007
Size: 5 mm length
Suggest this is a leaf beetle of some kind. If so, can anyone think of the genera that have this color pattern?

Tenebrionidae: Platydema ellipticus
One of the prettier tenebs.

Oops
I had just edited my other comment and changed my guess from Tenebrionidae to platydema when I saw that Donald had already ID'd it.

I'm thinking it's aTenebronid.
Maybe something like Platydema?
