damselfly - Enallagma geminatum - Female
North Judson, Starke County, Indiana, USA
May 26, 2017
Photographed in a sand prairie garden at my home in North Judson Indiana - not particularly near any body of water. It was the only damselfly I saw in the area, and possibly seemed to like to perch on Asclepias tuberosa leaves. Maybe a bluet?

More like a Purplet
Looks like a Purple Bluet, Enallagma cardenium

but...
It really does look similar, but the site (NW Indiana) is far to the north of the range of E. cardenium, so it seems unlikely to me.
