The species taxonomy and nomenclature is a bit confused, and I haven't kept up with who is calling what by which name. The "eastern" names meet the "western" names in Colorado, but it seems that the insects don't know there is supposed to be a change-over there. They range right across the entire state as what looks like a single species (to me). Perhaps the best name for this one, since it was in the mountains, would be "Celastrina echo sidara".
