ID Request - Which weevil? - Cophes obtentus

ID Request - Which weevil? - Cophes obtentus
1.3 miles NW of Camp Wood, Edwards County, Texas, USA
June 2, 2017
Size: apx. 6mm long
Family Curculionidae? This Weevil appeared like a crumpled ball on my sheet and stuck to it when I tried to put it in the vial. The closest Genus I could find was Conotrachelus.

Very different from any I have seen before.
