Agrilus hespenheidei? - Agrilus hespenheidei

Agrilus hespenheidei? - Agrilus hespenheidei
About 15 mi W of Lamesa, Gaines County, Texas, USA
May 26, 2017
Size: 1 cm long
Occurs on Mirabilis glabra (Nyctaginaceae). I have only seen it on Mirabilis, unless scared off the plant. Seems to prefer this plant to others and possibly uses it in some way. In shin oak (Quercus havardii) dominated habitat (i.e., vegetated sand dune habitat). Prosopis glandulosa (Mesquite) is common in the area. Andropogon hallii occurs about a mile north but is uncommon. My guess is A. hespenheidei based on habitat, but I don't know the group and any help is welcome.
