Company in the doghouse? - Latrodectus geometricus Buena Park, Orange County, California, USA June 2, 2017 Size: approx. 1 1/2 to 2 inches
Found this spider while we were washing out the doghouse. The shape of it shouts out Widow spider. I have seen many Black Widows and Brown Widows. But the abdominal pattern on this one is like nothing I have ever seen before. Asi it was in the doghouse, i am concerned both for the safety of my dog (Beagle) and myself. I am wondering if it is venomous and dangerous?
