Size: 7 mm
These midges are currently abundant at this salt-marsh location. In the morning they are active in the shrubbery, flitting and walking around as if feeding (?); toward evening they dance in clouds. Many end up in spider webs, where a brief survey indicates males outnumber females by at least 2:1.
