Immature cicada nymph dug up - Okanagana

Immature cicada nymph dug up - Okanagana
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
September 1, 1997
Size: BL ~ 17 mm
This cicada immature nymph was dug up when putting in a fence post in the CO foothills at about ~6400' elevation. Seems to have red eyes. I recently submitted a mature larva, #1369233 which differs considerably from this one. We seem to have two cicadas here, Platypedia putnami and Okanagana bella, with the P. putnami adults being much more common. Any help with its ID is much appreciated.
