Pink and Gold Moth - Colomychus talis

Pink and Gold Moth - Colomychus talis
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
April 20, 2017
Size: About 1 inch wingspan
A very striking moth that came to my porch light and perched on the ceiling. The colors in the photo are very accurate. He was gold and pink/maroon. The four "globs" of light gold on his wings were lined by a darker gold. He was also lined with gold around his wings. His head and thorax and tail were orangish. I noticed that he perched with the end of his tail curved up. His antennae were also orange and curved outward.

Distinguished Colomychus Moth
That is the moth! Thank you very much. Distinguished is a good name for him.
