If would help if...
you added the sixth photo of your series to the BugGuide page. It is a more diagnostic photo, not to mention that it is just a great shot. Please crop it down to show just the insect though.
Also, you appear to have a Goldenrod Leaf Beetle (
Trirhabda
). See
for reference. Maybe an expert could determine a species (I suspect it is
canadensis
).

T. canadensis has a smaller squared black spot on the head.
