Sure looks like Acrobasis angusella, but BG does not show them close to TX. MPG does have TX siting though.

According to Ed Knudson, this is mostly likely Acrobasis cirroferella.

Was the specimen examined or at least measured? I questioned Brian Scholtens as to how other similar species,
minimella
in particular, might be separated and he replied "Yeah, I'm not sure how he [Ed Knudson] eliminated that either. To me it looks like
