This gorgeous pic is sitting in genus Palpada. Isn't this a Transverse Flower Fly - Eristalis transversa? If incorrect, please explain what makes it Palpada. Thanks in advance, Sandy S.

Possibly Drone Fly (Eristalis tenax)
